Mining and tower defense hybrid

Wall World is a premium action game for PC made by developer Alawar Premium. It is a mining simulator that incorporates tower defense mechanics and roguelike elements in its gameplay. In it, players will explore and attempt to discover the secrets of a vast walled world.

Similar to Dome Romantik or Tower Tactics: Liberation, Wall World seamlessly combines open-world exploration, mining, and tower defense for an engaging and challenging gameplay experience. Players will need to balance gathering resources and being wary of oncoming enemies to not wander too far from their bases and be left defenseless to attacks.

A mysterious walled world

The game takes place in the titular Wall World, a place closed off to the outside. This enigmatic realm houses all manner of secrets and rich resources within its confines. You play as a budding adventurer, together with your trusty robospider, who will explore this land and discover everything it has in store for anyone brave enough to venture into its depths.

Wall World boasts a high level of verticality and you'll spend most of your time upright and climbing. Set up camp at any point and dig a hole through the wall to start exploring and gather materials for upgrades. The game features multiple unique biomes to discover but be wary of enemy creatures attacking as you'll need to board your robospider to defend against them.

Use upgrades to put up turrets to help fend off attacks, repair stations to fix damage to your hull, and resource harvesters to gather material faster. Suffice it to say, this game is quite challenging and can be overwhelming to new players. This is further compounded by the fact that there's a high level of grinding involved to progress, which some will not like.

Dig, mine, defend

Overall, Wall World is a nice twist that builds upon the gameplay loop from Dome Romantik. It boasts a large world to explore, various upgrades to help on your journey, and offers players a nice challenge to those who want it. Some will find it a bit too hard at times, but there's plenty of fun to be had with it all the same.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.
